The Liner, Man’s, Coat, Combat (Liner) was a thermal button-in liner that was provided with the Coat, Combat, G.S. It consists of an olive green sateen cloth jacket with a dark green, lightweight polyester cloth lining on the torso.
The liner can be attached to the inside of the Coat, Combat, G.S. via buttons, and the torso area features a white quilted cotton gauze thermal interlining.
