History
The Pouch, 9mm, Double Magazine is designed to securely hold two 9-mm, 15-round magazines for a M-9 Beretta pistol. It is part of the Advanced Integrated Tactical Equipment System (AITES) a commercially available equipment system produced by LB Technologies that was used by some military personnel and law enforcement agencies.
Description
The pouch is made of durable nylon duck fabric and features the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) on the external side for enhanced camouflage in various environments. The internal side has a polyurethane lamination to provide waterproofing and protect the magazines from moisture.
Each magazine is held in an individual cell, which is secured with a webbing strap and metal snap-dome, along with hook and loop fastening tape. The external side of each cell is reinforced with a strip of nylon webbing to prevent wear and tear.The back face of the pouch has a lattice of four webbing Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS) loops and two webbing PALS straps for easy attachment to other tactical gear or equipment.
The pouch is designed to be compact, lightweight, and waterproof to protect the magazines from damage and ensure quick access to them when needed.
