The Pouch, Nylon, Compass is a small pouch that was issued to British soldiers in limited numbers and attached to a web belt, enabling a Field Dressing or compass to be be carried in a dedicated pouch on the front of the Pattern-58 web belt.
Description
The pouch is fabricated with two layers of olive green nylon cloth, with a thin closed cell foam interlining. The lid has a snap-dome closure and a secondary hook and loop closure sewn to the underside of the webbing tab below the snap-dome. The pouch is held on the web belt with two brass double-hooks (C-hooks) on the back face.
