History
The Admin bag draws inspiration from the design of the US M-18A1 Claymore mine bag, originally designed for mine transportation. Rather than being discarded after its initial use, it frequently found new life as a carrier for notebooks, SOP manuals, and other similar items. This modern alternative was available for purchase by New Zealand soldiers and manufactured in both cotton and nylon fabrics, featuring patterns such as Temperature DPM and woodland Pattern. Distinguished by its multiple compartments and adjustable straps, this contemporary option offered enhanced functionality.
Description
The bag is a small satchel-type bag worn over the shoulder, featuring an adjustable shoulder strap and an adjustable waist strap with a side-release buckle. The lid closes securely with two adjustable side-release buckles. Underneath the lid, there is a flat open-top pocket, with four external pen sleeves secured by a hook-and-loop cover, oriented horizontally for easy access.
The main body of the bag consists of two open-top compartments designed to accommodate the Claymore mine and cable, or alternatively, other items. At the back of the bag, there is a large flat pocket with full-length zip access at the top.
