History
The Smock, Windproof, Cadet Forces (Smock) was issued to British Army cadet forces, replacing the previously issued olive drab anorak-style smock.
Description
The Smock is made from cotton model cloth with a printed temperature DPM pattern. It has buttons around the collar for attaching a 68-Pattern hood. The front of the Smock closes with a full-length nylon zip, covered by a storm flap secured with hook-and-loop patches.
The front features two large internal open-top pockets and two large external bottom pockets. There is an internal draw-cord at the waist. The sleeve cuffs adjust around the wrists with hook-and-loop secured cloth tabs.
Inside, the Smock is lined with a three-quarter-length olive green sateen cloth lining. It also has two draw-cords: one at the waist on the inside and one at the bottom hem.
