History
The Pack, Waist (Pack) is a part of the Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment (MOLLE) II system and is a small bag designed to be worn around the waist, attached to the Fighting Load Carrier (FLC) vest or the large Rucksack and Assault Pack.
Description
The Pack is fabricated with nylon duck cloth and has a camouflage pattern printed on the external side and a Polyurethane (PU) lamination on the internal side.
The Pack has one compartment that closes with a plastic zip and has adjustable webbing straps on each side. The back face of the pack has an adjustable 50mm webbing waist belt with a dual adjustment, side-release buckle. When not in use, the waistband is stored in an open-ended fabric channel sewn to the back, with PALS webbing loops and straps at each end of the channel.
The back face of the Pouch has two rungs of Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS) loops with two PALS straps. The Pouch is available in several camouflage patterns, including Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP), Coyote, Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP), Woodland, and Three-color desert camouflage patterns.
