History
The Holster/Leg Extender, a key member of the Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment (MOLLE) II family, is ingeniously designed for seamless integration with the Fighting Load Carrying (FLC) Vest or Waist belt. This versatile Extender empowers users to stylishly wear the M-12 holster on the thigh, offering the choice of both high and low positions. Additionally, it opens up exciting possibilities by allowing the attachment of various MOLLE pouches in lieu of the holster.
Description
The Extender is fabricated with foliage green nylon webbing and lined with plastic spacer sheeting. The front of the Extender has eight Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS) loops and two larger loops that the M-12 holster attaches to. The back face has a lattice of four PALS loops and two PALS straps.
The Extender’s base has a nylon webbing channel that’s lined with hook and loop fastening tape that secures the Extender’s adjustable webbing thigh strap in place. The thigh strap is a 25mm webbing strap with an elastic loop at one end and adjusts at the other with a side-release buckle.
