
Trousers, Combat
In 1985, British soldiers were issued the Trousers, Combat, along with a corresponding smock. These trousers were designed to be a major improvement over their predecessor, the 68-Pattern Trousers, Combat, drawing from the experience gained during the Falklands War. The trousers had several improvements, such as better adaptability around the waist, simplified back pockets, and bellowed thigh pockets.
