Jacket, Field, 2-G The Jacket, Field, 2-G was a heavyweight Herringbone-Twill cotton jacket issued by the Portuguese military in the 1960s. It was based on the French TAP Modéle 1947 in design and camouflage pattern, and was worn by Portuguese soldiers in Angola and Mozambique. The jacket features a mandarin collar, seven concealed buttons, and external fabric patches on the shoulders and elbows.
